Facilitation & Forums
Cross-Sector Collaboration: Organize and facilitate curated sessions that bring together diverse partners across the public and private sectors to advance shared resilience goals.
Forum Design and Execution: Conceptualize, convene, and moderate expert panels, workshops, side-events, strategic meetings, and other symposia on adaptation and resilience, inclusive development, environmental justice, and climate integration.
EXAMPLES OF RECENT EXPERIENCE
Program Design: Designed and launched a new $3 million interdisciplinary research program to identify climate change impacts on U.S. fisheries and fishing communities at NOAA. By establishing clear priorities, evaluation criteria, and stakeholder engagement processes, the program funded 12+ research projects that strengthened community awareness and developed new practices to better prepare fishermen and working waterfronts for future climate risks.
Policy Development: Led a collaborative multi-stakeholder process to develop an agency-wide climate integration policy resulting in a framework for USAID Mission teams to improve actionable roadmaps for embedding climate considerations into their core programming.
International Climate Diplomacy: Coordinated USAID representation at three United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Conference of the Parties (COP), managing agency-wide deliverables and developing side-events, bilateral meetings, and strategic engagement to ensure alignment between U.S. development priorities and international climate commitments.
Climate Training: Organized and delivered a climate integration training for Mission team members (40+ participants), strengthening their understanding of regional climate risks and equipping them with practical tools to embed climate considerations across their programming portfolios — from agriculture and health to education.
